American Cancer Society, Midwest Division Slashes Costs and Streamlines Management of Audio Conferencing with HiDef Corporate

Citrix Online Audio Delivers Superior Voice Collaboration Solutions at an Affordable Price to Organizations of Any Size

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.January 25, 2010: – Citrix Online Audio, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Citrix Online, LLC (NASDAQ:CTXS), today announced that the American Cancer Society, Midwest Division has cut audio conferencing costs by about 50 percent and simplified management by replacing a previous solution with HiDef Corporate™. HiDef Corporate audio conferencing solution enables organizations such as the society to easily start and manage audio conferences with up to 500 participants, while enjoying high voice quality and saving with predictable pricing.

HiDef Corporate is particularly important to the Midwest Division as money saved by using this solution is redirected to the nonprofit’s primary mission: providing programs and services to cancer patients and their families. The organization utilizes more than 100,000 audio conferencing minutes per month to facilitate virtual meetings, project coordination, volunteer training and events, which help to keep the society running efficiently, while also saving on travel costs.

Reducing Costs and Complexity of Audio Conferencing

Before HiDef Corporate, the Midwest Division struggled with the drawbacks of other services and experienced multiple issues ranging from indifferent customer service and complex administration to an expensive pricing structure. Brandi Wright, director of operations support, said, “We faced cost issues such as being charged more than $100 to record a single conference call, and I was spending far too much time on account management.”

After a successful pilot, the Midwest Division rolled out HiDef Corporate to about 120 employees. “An affordable audio conference service is essential to our work and HiDef Corporate has become a big asset to the organization,” Wright added.

In addition to cutting audio conferencing costs by about 50 percent, HiDef Corporate has simplified administration significantly. Wright appreciates the centralized billing structure, which allows her team to charge back to the correct budget codes; the Web controls vs. keypad controls, which make it easy to manage large groups and the highly responsive, 24x7 global customer service provided by Citrix Online Audio.

“HiDef Corporate is changing the audio conferencing landscape by replacing complex management and high costs with simplicity and affordability,” said Ben Lilienthal, general manager at Citrix Online Audio. “As the American Cancer Society, Midwest Division discovered, HiDef Corporate provides exceptional value as well as top performance. This solution helps organizations of all sizes to accomplish their goals through fast, efficient, real-time audio conferencing.”

HiDef Corporate is distinguished by its broadband capability that significantly enhances the quality of voice transmission compared to ordinary telephone service. Users dialing into conference calls experience crystal clear, rich and natural audio that is more like a face-to-face meeting. The service combines simplicity with powerful functionality. Customers can easily conduct professional audio conferences without the need for expensive operator assistance. Web controls simplify management of all aspects of a call, while an intuitive administration console makes it easy to add or remove users. The solution integrates with Microsoft® Outlook® for ease of scheduling. Call recording and storage are free, and subscription is based on a predictable monthly fee.
